Thank you for visiting my site. I'm Beth Becker, and I’m thrilled to share my passion for music with you. Music has always been at the heart of my life, and I love creating spaces where people of all ages can experience its joy.
I am a music teacher based in Guelph, Ontario, where I direct two women’s choirs, Just Sing. These choirs offer a warm, welcoming environment where fun is the focus, and there are no auditions or music-reading skills required. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just starting out, my choirs are a place for everyone to find their voice, learn, and enjoy the simple pleasure of singing together.
In addition to my choir work, I have found new inspiration in creating musical children’s books. My first book, Something Nice – A Musical Tale, was inspired by my grandson Grant and his love for rescuing frogs from the pool. His innocent joy sparked the idea for Freddy the Frog, the main character of the story, and the theme of kindness and paying it forward grew from there. Combining storytelling, music, and a message of compassion, I hope these books will inspire children and families alike.
Through my books, I’ve also incorporated my love for introducing children to different musical instruments, making my stories a multi-sensory experience.
